Lee Ann Sennick was elected to the Republican National Committee as National Committeewoman for Rhode Island in 2014. In addition to her professional capacity as Controller for a locally-based seafood company, she currently serves as the Chairwoman of the Woonsocket Republican City Committee. Under her tenure, the city committee has expanded membership, hosted successful and innovative fundraisers, created and maintained an informational website and launched a well-received Issues & Answers Voter Education Series.
Mrs. Sennick is an active member of the RIGOP Executive Committee, the current Vice-President for Providence County of the Chairs’ Caucus, a past member of the Candidate Vetting Committee, current member of the Platform Committee and newly appointed Co-Chair of the Messaging Committee of the Rhode Island Republican Party. She is also the creator; producer and host of the Take A Stand conservative talk radio show. Take A Stand is designed to promote political engagement, participation, and civic responsibility and to spread conservative values to a broader audience. Weekly topics center on conversations with respected guests to engage and inform listeners on current events and issues. The show also provides a showcase for a variety of candidates to present their platforms and ideas.
Her grassroots involvement and volunteer work on numerous local, state, and national campaigns have instilled in Mrs. Sennick a belief in the importance of GOTV efforts. She believes that coupling the Republican principles which unite us all with an effective ground game is key to winning elections.
